First afternoon in Lima

So we got the day started with coffee, chicha morada, and flan at Cafe Haiti. A walk thru Parque Central and Parque Kennedy followed, with some disturbing art about the destruction of everything but also some peace from the surrounding diesel fumes. We then took a nice long walk thru the Miraflores district to an awesome sandwich place and then headed thru some pretty, fancy neighborhoods down toward the ocean. The clifftop location yielded amazing views and led us to the Larcomar mall which is carved into the cliffs. Here we saw stray paragliders and an homage to cholo power and enjoyed some vino before heading back for naptime.

PS I don't think it's ever sunny here, but it's quite comfortable for walking around.
